George Samuel founded
Stabilix® Corp., and is currently serving as its President
and Chief Executive Officer. He has accumulated 20 years of
industry related experience and is well versed in industry
fundamentals. He is educated in the evolution of the healthcare
technology business. Having worked both on the provider and
on payer systems, he has gained a unique perspective on the
‘total’ healthcare industry.
Prior to founding
Stabilix® Corp., Mr. Samuel founded Healthcare Media Enterprises,
Inc. (HME) in 1993 and was the CEO until June 2002. HME developed
Internet-based software solutions for healthcare payer/provider
organizations. Under his leadership, HME opened a world-class
Technology Center in India, as a wholly owned subsidiary.
The team was assessed CMM Level 5 by KPMG. In 2000, he offered
HME for acquisition to the TriZetto Group (NASDAQ: TZIX) and
remained as its CEO for two more years before founding Stabilix®
Corp.
From 1982 to 1992,
he was employed by Knowledge Data Systems Inc. (KDS), an Ameritech
subsidiary and healthcare clinical systems vendor. Mr. Samuel
spent the last two years of his tenure with KDS as Vice President
of Product Development. He also served as Vice President and
Account Manager for a joint development project with Henry
Ford Healthcare Corporation, where he helped develop the first
commercially available clinical database in the industry.
While with KDS, he also worked with Kaiser Permanente of Northern
California in the capacity of Vice President and Account Manager,
managing the company’s $35 million software implementation
contract.
Mr. Samuel has degrees
in Chemistry, Computer Science and Business Administration.

Lyju
Alexander Thomas joined Stabilix® in 2000. Mr. Thomas is currently
the Chief Operating Officer for Stabilix’s Software
Development Center in India and manages the offshore operations
and business development of the company. Having 17 years of
industry related experience; he is well versed in Object oriented
development, Project management fundamentals and quality paradigms
like Capability Maturity Model® for Software (SW-CMM®)
of Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University,
USA.
Prior to joining Stabilix®,
Mr. Thomas was the Information Systems Manager at Pentafour
Software and Exports in Chennai, India. He served in the Indian
Air Force for 10 years as a Technology officer, and has vast
experience in Avionics, Air defense Information systems and
Missile technologies.
Mr. Thomas holds a
Bachelors degree in Engineering with specialization in Electronics
and Telecommunication. He is a certified Project manager (PMP)
and holds other certifications like Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Terry Bloom joined
Stabilix® in 2005 as the Senior Director of Application Development.
Mr. Bloom has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare
software development and business operations management. His
primary responsibility is to oversee all system development
activities and services for Stabilix®.
Prior to joining Stabilix®,
Mr. Bloom was responsible for directing segments of the information
technology and operational business areas for some of the
nation’s largest and most innovative healthcare organizations.
In his most recent position, Mr. Bloom was responsible for
all facets of implementing new and renewing clients for First
Health, Inc., a large multi-line provider networking organization.
Formerly, he was the Senior Director of System Development
at United Health Group. United Health is a $32 billion healthcare
company that operates health plans, provides administrative
services, and supplies specialized healthcare products to
more than 55 million members.
Mr. Bloom brings practical,
hands-on expertise and long-term strategic perspective to
healthcare technology, having served in virtually every capacity
from Programmer/Analyst to Vice President of Development.
Mr. Bloom graduated
cum laude with Bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology
and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. |
